March 3, 2015, in Vientiane Laos, Vietnam Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang and Minister of Industry and Trade of Laos Khemmani Pholsena signed a bilateral trade agreement Vietnam - Laos, alternative trade agreement between the two party in 1998.
Agreement on Trade in Vietnam - Laos includes 6 chapters and 16 articles in which the commitment to eliminate tariffs on over 95% of goods originating in the two countries.
Currently, this Agreement has effect.
